Brandy Plum Sauce on the hottest day of the year




My co-worker Aurea has a plum tree and the birds are getting at them  so she brought some to work and wanted me to make her a tart or a cobbler for Monday. Of course today was the hottest day of the year (at least 90 degrees) and there was no way I was going to turn the oven on. So instead I made some brandy plum sauce and bought pound cake to take to work
The sauce is a piece of cake. 
Cut plums add 1/2 cup of sugar 1/4 cup of water 1/4 cup of brandy 1/2 teaspoon of Cinnamon cook for 15 minutes and BAM sauce is cooked.
